We love people who love our beer, so St Valentine is an important chap around Kinnegar!
To celebrate Kinnegar's love affair with our customers, there's a specially-commissioned Dulche de Leche chocolate from gifted local chocolatier, Monto, for 50 "first pints" poured in the K2 Taproom this Saturday, 17 February.
Established in 2020 by Monto Mansour, a pastry chef with over 20 years experience, Monto Chocolates are made using the highest quality ingredients, with an emphasis on local produce. Produced in the Northwest of Ireland, each chocolate is handmade using techniques perfected over years of practice in pastry kitchens across Ireland and the UK. Many of you will have met Monto at our Winterland Market where his works of edible art sold out far too quickly.
Monto has chosen 'Dulce de Leche' for our celebratory token of love. According to Wikipedia, this caramelised milk, milk candy or milk jam is a confection popular in Latin America, France, Poland and Philippines prepared by slowly heating sugar and milk over a period of several hours.
The Taproom is open for pints every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1–7pm. See you soon!
