We were thrilled to welcome Gaeroid McDaid with Tides Surf Magazine to K2 in the depths of January this year when the climate in our brewery would have made the great outdoors that Gearoid usually inhabits seem toasty. It's been great to be involved in THE SHAPERS EDITION project and to help make this ambitious series possible.
Gearoid has been putting 8 boards through their paces. He's been doing it in cold Irish water — no board shorts used in this particular production! Filming for the series took place over many months and the goal is to show what boards made here in Ireland look like under the feet of masters.
We're looking forward to seeing the finished production at last! See you in Bundoran and in Portrush!
Many months after Gaeroid McDaid's visit to K2 in January, Tides Surf Magazine now presents its much-anticipated Shapers film in three episodes. We're proud to have been able to support this project and see it come to fruition.
